The creative duo behind Yellow Coco Creative Nest is the uber-dynamic husband and wife team whose goal is to nurture children’s creativity through the arts. This community based open-arts space bridges the gap between the multi-cultural communities of the Balinese and expatriate kids living in Ubud. Yellow Coco’s classes gently weave together eastern and western practices, offering a holistic approach to artistic expression.
Yellow Coco Creative Nest’s unique classes range from their specialty of shadow puppetry to mask-making, singing and drumming, story theater and expressive dance movement. Each and every class helps children feel connected to themselves, each other and the deep-rooted arts of an ancient Balinese culture.

Yellow Coco offers different courses geared towards 3-6 years old, 5-11 years old and 6-12 years old.

Yellow Coco has a small bilingual children’s library, a natural toy collection, a children’s garden and a brand new batik studio.
