Bengal Brothers, Hong Kong’s leading purveyor of kathi takeaway rolls has had a facelift – and has reopened its doors in Wan Chai as a boozy Indian canteen complete with dine-in seating.
From chaats and beer bites to curries, roasts, and sweets, the menu is designed for sharing and showcasing iconic dishes from all corners of the country. Feast on mouthwatering delights like Prince’s Papri Chaat, Chettinad-style Lamb Curry, and Jackfruit Dum Biryani. The vegetarian options are equally tempting, including the flavorsome Jackfruit Dum Biryani. And for meat lovers, the Parsi Keema Pav and Old Delhi Butter Chicken are must-tries.
Bengal Brothers also introduces a new beverage program, featuring refreshing cocktails like the Sugarcane Smash and Pallonji’s Fizz, along with highballs, cold beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks. Indulge in the perfect after-dinner nightcap with their selection of quality scotch.
Located in a vibrant Wan Chai locale, the restaurant’s interior design, inspired by India’s post-colonial canteens and coffee houses, provides a casual and fun atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot for a quick after-work beverage or gathering with friends to savor authentic street fare.
Their newly launched Adda brunch offers warm and comforting options such as Bun Maska – a pillowy soft buttered Pav that can be dipped in hot masala chai, eggs kejriwal (two fried eggs on chili cheese toast and tadka potatoes) as well as many other à la carte options. Brunch is available on Sundays from 11am to 3pm.
Reservations are accepted for dinner only.
