More than 25 years since its Belgian founder established the first Le Pain Quotidien in Brussels, Le Pain Quotidien opens its doors in Hong Kong for the first time, adding another restaurant to the 240 Le Pain Quotidiens that span the globe. Its Wanchai location at one end of The Avenue offers ample al fresco seating, where diners can pass the time watching the world – and the trams – go by while enjoying the eatery’s wide selection of bread offerings, sandwiches, salads, soups and other light bites.
Pastries, tartines, artisanal bread with gluten-free and organic options, there's plenty of choice at Le Pain Quotidien. We love the range of vegan items on the menu too and delight in the rustic setting as well as the ample open-air space.
A hearty breakfast, take-away lunch or a light dinner, Le Pain Quotidien is also a prime spot for a cuppa.
Le Pain Quotidien will be opening a second Hong Kong restaurant in Pacific Place in August 2016.
