SummerFest@Central 2024: Free Admission To Giant Inflatable Wonders & Exciting Events

You are invited to the extraordinary summer open-air experience, SummerFest 2024, at the Central Harbourfront. This year’s annual SummerFest@Central will debut five giant Inflatable Wonders designed with generative AI technology, turning them into must-visit landmarks along the Central Harbourfront. Inspired by the excitement of the upcoming Paris Olympics, the Fun Sports Gala will feature fun runs between Central and Wan Chai, along with emerging ball games and other sporting pursuits. Beyond sports, SummerFest will host over 25 pop-up events covering culture, music, and more. Free admission!

Highlights from SummerFest@Central 2024:

• A major highlight will be five large-scale inflatable World Wonders inspired by renowned AI artist @joooo.ann from Armenia. These installations, including Stonehenge, Easter Island Moai, Pyramids of Giza, Tower of Pisa, and Arc de Triomphe, will captivate visitors with their all-white design and colorful nighttime lighting. Notably, the Stonehenge installation will double as a bouncy setup for added fun.
• The Fun Sports Gala will feature 5-km fun runs every Friday and Saturday and 2-km family runs on Sundays along the scenic Central and Wan Chai harbourfronts. Finishers will receive certificates, medals, and souvenirs. Additionally, visitors can try emerging ball games such as tchoukball, pickleball, a unique dodgeball-frisbee hybrid, and traditional rugby.
• SummerFest will also host special pop-up programs on weekends, including My Rhythm Playground, Serenade, Summer Dance Companion, and GrooveFest. Sports-related events include the Hong Kong Balance Bike Group Championship, Summer Cup Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament, and Baseball5 Sports Day.

For families, special events like the Summer Sea Fest, HK Camping Festival 2024, Hello Summer Carnival, and Mermazing Palace Summer Splash promise unique summertime experiences.
