  • A: Outrageous fancy dress is encouraged! Popular themes for 2025 include Wicked, gladiators, and Deadpool & Wolverine duos. The stadium has a retractable roof (whether it's retracted or not is decided upon every morning depending on the forecast), but bring a poncho in case of unexpected showers.

  • A: Pack light with essentials like sunscreen, wet wipes, plasters, sunglasses, a hat, power bank, and painkillers. Kai Tak Sports Park is cashless, so bring a loaded Octopus card and credit/debit cards. Families should not forget diapers, baby food, a change of clothes, and other essentials.

  • A: Do not bring hard-shell water bottles, balls, dangerous items, outside food and drinks, scooters, alcohol, military-style costumes, noisy instruments, selfie sticks, or remote-controlled devices.

  • A: The stadium is a 10-15 minute walk from both Kai Tak and Sung Wong Toi MTR stations. Public buses and ferries are also available.

  • A: Yes, the stadium features North, South, East, and West stands, each with its own atmosphere. The South Stand (18+ only) is particularly famous for its party atmosphere.

Where To Sit At Kai Tak Stadium

Kai Tak Stadium offers spectacular views of the rugby action from all 50,000 seats, with each stand catering to different spectator preferences. As general admission (GA) is on a first-come, first-served basis, it’s recommended to arrive early to secure your preferred spot in this new venue.
