How To Adopt A Pet With SPCA In Hong Kong?
Adopt An Animal Companion This Summer!
The 17th SPCA Pet Adoptathon is taking place this summer. If you’re looking for a talking parrot, playful kitten, curious hamster, cool reptile, adorable rabbit, and of course a fun-loving dog, then this is the event to go to! Last year, SPCA was able to house over 100 of their lovely animals, and this year you could help them surpass 100 again.
During this event, there will be various free seminars and activities. The informative ones include Dog Behavior & Training Sharing, Pet Care, Pet Grooming Tips, and a Parent-Child Workshop. Some of the more hands-on activities include the Doggie Party, Cotton Candy, and Pet Toy Workshop.
Remember that pets are a lifetime commitment and if you’re not 100% confident in your ability to take care of one for life, there are tons of other options out there! The SPCA is always looking for foster homes, and you can even start out by dog walking in your neighborhood.
