MARITZA LUE: Women's Health Physiotherapist
Maritza Lue was part of the Equestrian Events of the Olympic Games in 2008, which was held in Hong Kong. She has expertise in treating women’s physiotherapy issues, including stress incontinence, urge incontinence, and prolapsed pelvic floor by combining electrical stimulation and reformer-based pilates.
With Maritza's expertise, she has been able to help treat women's issues such as runner's incontinence, weakness of the pelvic floor muscles. She determines the type of incontinence and analyzes the lifestyle and diet. And lastly, she offers appropriate treatment modalities and prescribes home exercises as well.
She also offers physiotherapy for musculoskeletal conditions, such as back pain, neck pain, pelvic and sacroiliac joint pain, tennis elbow, mummy thumb, etc. She specializes in Pilates that consists of low-impact flexibility, muscular strength and endurance movements that emphasize proper postural alignment and muscle balance. She offers workouts with the reformer machine for high-intensity but low-impact exercises to help build a stronger core.
