New Kids Woodwork Workshops In Mid-Levels

Crafty Hands Woodwork Studio is now providing workshops in Mid-Levels! With more than 20 years of experience in woodworking, Ricky, also an international school early years teacher, leads small groups of kids (a maximum of 4 spots per class) in teaching them techniques and skills on how to manipulate wood and small tools. Kids will be able to take on small projects and engage in small practical exercises while building confidence in using traditional hand tools and basic power tools.

The Scoop:

• They are the only woodwork workshop on Hong Kong Island providing classes to kids!
• Starting at age 4 their creative thinking and design classes teach techniques and skills as well as how to safely use tools
• Space is limited to 4 spots per class to maximize safety and also to provide individualized training; they also have a stellar safety record
• Children aged 4-7 must be accompanied by a caregiver at all times. Ricky encourages parents to come along as it is a nice family bonding experience!
• Older kids can bring a picture of what they would like to make (from a toy car to more elaborate designs) and Ricky will help them realize it!
• Classes are priced at HK$580 for 90 minutes
