For an easy edutainment outing, head to the Hong Kong Museum of Medical Science in Po Hing Fong. (Note: It’s more interesting than the name sounds!). Featuring over 15 permanent exhibits in a rather charming historical building, the highlight for the kids is the outdoor herb garden showcasing local plants used in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western medicine. For a fun game, quiz your kids on the type of plants!

After the quick stop in the museum, grab a coffee and pastry at the delightful Po’s Atelier just down the steps from the museum. If the kids still have energy to burn, head over to the Caine Road playground!
