A new stunning waterfront cycling track has just opened in Sam Mun Tsai, Hong Kong, adding to the growing number of cycling tracks this city offers.
The 900m flat track runs along Sam Mun Tsai Road, and riders can enjoy beautiful views of Pat Sin Leng, Plover Cove and Tolo Harbour and the whole Shuen Wan Typhoon shelter. This new cycling route extends the Sheung Shui to the University Station section of the New Territories Cycle Network.
The cycling track is also well equipped with resting facilities like benches and shelters and toilets and water dispensing stations.
The route may be short (average 15 mins) but it’s easy and flat, and perfect for our younger riders! There’s also lots to see along the way! Click here to find out more about the history of the surrounding area.
An easy route with stunning, natural and unobstructed views.
Riders of all ages and skill levels - especially beginners!
Most of the track is uncovered, so don't forget a hat and sunscreen! There's also water dispensing stations so you can fill up your water bottle.
