Gone are the days of leftovers covered in cling film or half-eaten vegetables housed in zip lock bags – once you introduce Honeybee wraps to your kitchen, there’s no need to use plastic to store your food. These reusable beeswax wraps are the perfect way to keep your fruits, vegetables, cheeses and anything else. Made from 100 per cent organic cotton fabric, natural beeswax, jojoba oil, coconut oil and tree resin, they are flexible and easily mouldable over any dish, or can be used directly to wrap sandwiches, snacks and fresh produce. Reduce your environmental impact by using them over and over again – when taken care of one wrap will last for up to a year.
The wraps are safe, non-toxic, eco-friendly and compostable, and the beeswax and jojoba they contain actually has antibacterial properties that help keep food fresh for longer.
Honeybee wraps come in various sizes and are sold separately or in packs so you can choose what’s best for you, whether you are storing single vegetables, sandwiches, or larger plates of leftovers.
Honeybee wraps are not recommended for storing meat.
