Handcrafted Rugs + Textiles For Kids
Beautifully crafted, hand-tufted or hand-knotted rugs are created out of The Palmer Studio, a Sydney-based textile design studio with creative director Philippa Anderson at its helm. In addition, there’s Little P – handcrafted textiles for little people, with a range of rugs on offer that are perfect for children’s bedrooms and play areas. Rugs are created out of traditional rug-making regions across Asia and can be made to size required and requested colorings.
Why Little Steps Loves It:
Customised and bespoke rugs, as well as Palmer Studio's collection, are made from natural fibres, primarily New Zealand wools and silk, but also bamboo, hemp and cotton. Wool is the preferred as it is durable, flame retardant, resilient, naturally soil resistant and renewable and is a naturally hygienic surface for babies and children to play on as well as being allergy-friendly.

What Else:
Rugs can take 6 to 8 weeks for hand-tufting, and more for hand-knotting, but can be shipped directly from mill to any international location.
