Named speciafically after the material for its ability to change shape, much like the crucial time in a child’s life when they are evolving and adapting to the world, sand designs are both playful and practical.
The collection includes pieces such as a rolling wardrobe and cabinet reminiscent of a classic traveller’s trunk, sun-themed single beds, and retro button-like tables and stools. The pieces are all handcrafted from solid American hardwoods while using child-safe finishes and materials. Although they are simplistic designs with muted primary colours, they are by no means boring.
