For families seeking a pleasant street stroll, Lee Tung Avenue is worth the trip! This tree-lined avenue in the heart of Wanchai runs between tram-tracked Johnston Road and Queen’s Road East. The peaceful street is home to a range of gourmet eateries, from Le Pain Quotidien and Passion by Gerard Dubois, to BlueBrickBistro by Yoku Moku and new bar Ophelia; as well as local and international brands such as Le Creuset, Moleskine, Pandora, Staedtler and Vivienne Tam, with more to come soon. Lee Tung Avenue also hosts a range of events suitable for all the family.
Our faves:
Breakfast: Pastries, tartines, artisanal bread with gluten-free and organic options, there’s plenty of choice at Le Pain Quotidien. We love the range of vegan items on the menu too and delight in the rustic setting as well as the ample open-air space. Kids love this space (and the views of the trams). Highchairs are available too!
Ice Cream Break: After a bit of walking, talking and shopping…it’s time for some gelato! Givres offers a premium hub of frozen delights that will surely hit this spot.
Lunch: Open 8am – 10am daily, Passion by Gerard Dubois is a lovely resto offers indoor and outdoor seating on a lovely car-less road so the kids can run around.
Date Night: Hot spot, Ophelia, is beyond a traditional bar! Enter this dark haven packed with peacock lined tables, swinging cocktail waitresses, and unique global tunes. Prepare to be truly mesmerized!
