Visiting Megabox In Kwun Tong, Hong Kong

Shine your ice skates, prepare for flight, enjoy a family grub fest, and shop for just about everything…Megabox in Kowloon Bay is happening!  A massive box housing fun options for the while family that is a mere twenty minutes from Central and an even shorter ride for those living in Clearwater Bay and Saikung.  Start exploring…mall style!

*  For mummy (or daddy):  there’s H&M, Ikea, Jusco and a whole host of children’s stores, including British companies Early Learning Center and Mothercare.

*  For daddy (or mummy:   there’s Flight Experience. Take to the skies in a flight simulator and play Captain for half an hour. Make a reservation in advance.  Kids over 5 can also take charge of an aircraft…cool!

*  For the kids:  there’s Playhouse, a fun indoor play-area ideal for younger kids. Children must be accompanied by adults but it’s a great place to break up a shopping trip with the kids and an excellent bribe for good behavior. Keep it to a mid-week shopping trip if you can though as it’s fairly compact and gets pretty busy at peak shopping times.
