Stories On Mid-Autumn Festival

Are you ready for the Mid-Autumn Festival? The day is also known as the Moon Festival, because this time of the year the moon is at its roundest and brightest. Chinese native Ying will be here to share stories and songs both in English and Chinese to help us celebrate and learn more about this celebration. Every Chinese festival is an opportunity for children to learn more about Chinese language and Chinese culture.

For the Mid-Autumn Festival, there is quite a lot to share with children. There are stories to read aloud, there is food to share or make, and there are fun tradition to explore! Join the storytellers at The Story Book for a Mid-Autumn storytime session and lantern walk in this night event suitable for families with kids from 3 to 10 years. Learn all about the tales of Chang Er, Jade Rabbit, Wu Gang and the legend of mooncakes.
