Swivel, tap and master the delicate technique of traditional Indian dance with the Sutra Academy. Enroll kids in group classes for Bharata Natyam and Odissi under the watchful eye of renowned guru Ramli Ibrahim. Dance lessons at Sutra extend beyond the classical, employing ballet, modern dance and yoga principles. If your little one is a natural, she (or he) could, in just a year, be prepped up for the academy’s dance performances. A first solo debut performance or arangetram, however, takes ample commitment and dedication, marking the completion of formal dance training. Sutra’s dancers go on to perform in international shows around India, Europe and America. October typically sees a series of outdoor performances, featuring the young students that will surely captivate.
Feel like dancing yourself mommies? They conduct adult classes minus the rigorous training. No experience is required. Just get ready to move that torso.

Opening Hours: Weekdays from 10am-5pm, Saturday from 10am – 12:30pm. General course fee: RM180 per semester (12 one-hour lessons).
