After a year of planning and refurbishment, The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur has reopened, launching 364 new, elegant and modern rooms, each with the hotel’s acclaimed butler service. A destination for international celebrities as well as business and leisure travellers for 18 years, the fresh-faced look is the creation of Alexandra Champalimaud and her New York-based design consultancy. Guests can also enjoy the beautiful pool and spa as well as delicious food at their award-winning Cantonese restaurant Li Yen. Afternoon Tea at The Lobby Lounge is a firm favorite while light snacks can be enjoyed at The Patisserie. On Sundays, brunch is a delectable spread in The Cobalt Room.
