Singapore is home to many different cuisines in all corners of the island, and we’re no strangers to traveling to various neighborhoods for good food. But a visit to Chef China Hua Chu, a new restaurant in Bugis, will take you to a galaxy far, far away instead.
Specializing in Sichuan cuisine, the restaurant will make you feel like you’ve stepped inside a spaceship from the moment you enter. Both adults and kids can snap pictures of the life-size astronaut statue sitting on a miniature moon, or together with the huge LED display featuring a galaxy. If you’re lucky, their mascot dressed in an actual astronaut outfit might make a surprise appearance too!
Food-wise, the menu caters to a more adult crowd with alcoholic beverages and spicy dishes that include Spicy Grilled Fish (SG$32.80), Steamed Chicken with Chilli Sauce (SG$9.80), and Chongqing Spicy Chicken (SG$16.80) which you can adjust the spice intensity for.
Between the delicious Chinese dishes and unique store interior and decoration, you’ll have a dining experience like nothing before!
Traveling for food is one thing, but this restaurant takes you out of this world quite literally.
