Singapore Art Museum Unveils New Learning Gallery at Tanjong Pagar Distripark

The Singapore Art Museum (SAM) is excited to announce the opening of its Learning Gallery at Tanjong Pagar Distripark. This thoughtfully designed space aims to ignite curiosity and foster authentic encounters with contemporary art for visitors of all ages.

Key Highlights:

• Educational Mission: The Learning Gallery is part of SAM’s ongoing commitment to art education, reflecting the museum’s dedication to nurturing an understanding of broader issues through contemporary art.
• Inaugural Edition Theme: The first edition of the Learning Gallery encourages visitors to adopt a childlike perspective towards contemporary art. This approach promotes exploration, imagination, and spontaneity, inviting visitors to reflect on and engage deeply with the artworks and themes presented.
• Featured Artworks: The gallery showcases five pieces by notable regional artists, including Han Sai Por, Nguan, Migrant Ecologies Project, Tang Da Wu, and Julian Abraham “Togar.” These artworks span various media and diverse forms of presentation, addressing themes such as:
