We all want to help our kids realise their true potential at school, but it’s not always easy to do that. The ISS International School in Singapore has developed a Learning Accelerator programme that addresses how each student learns and helps them identify their strengths and weaknesses.

The personalised learning programme taps into the school’s database of student performance results, which are discussed with students and parents to determine priorities. Students then draw up a bespoke learning plan with teachers that covers learning skills and areas that need development, social and enrichment targets, and the resources they need to succeed.

Since its launch 12 months ago, the programme has been well received by the community and has helped students excel in their studies. They have enjoyed enhanced student progress in English and higher than predicted IB Diploma results, for example.
