Singapore is a city thriving with heritage and culture, which is why Tanjong Pagar Distripark – the new space for the Singapore Art Museum – is a welcome addition to the art scene.
Spanning 21,500 square ft, there are 2 storeys comprising 2 huge galleries, a cafe, reception foyer, as well as The Engine Room – a space dedicated for events and programs. Make sure to spend some time at the cafe, since views from its windows are of the picturesque Keppel Harbour and sea.
At the moment, some exhibitions you can expect include Refuse, a music and sound installation themed after time and set up by local band The Observatory, as well as My Video Making Practic – a work by Malaysian artist Gan Siong King.
Whether it’s getting in touch with your artistic side by viewing the ever-changing artworks, or just having a chill day roaming around with the family, Tanjong Pagar Distripark is definitely an interesting place to check out.
With plenty of exhibitions, installations and even a cafe, Tanjong Pagar Distripark promises a full day of fun for the whole family.
Anyone looking to have a day filled with arts and culture.
Entry is free for all visitors until February 14, 2022. After which, it’ll be free for Singapore Residents and PRs, SG$5 for students and seniors, and $10 for adults.
