MACAO EVENT: Light Up Macao (2024 Fantasy of Lights)

The annual light show event, Light Up Macao, is returning, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the People's Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland. This year’s theme, “Symphony of Time and Space,” features contributions from artists across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and beyond, transforming the city into a vibrant display with six flagship installations, four art pieces, and more. Visitors can capture their experiences with social media hashtags for a chance to redeem themed souvenirs and engage in activities like a stamp collection game and the fun “MAK MAK Catch. Light Up Macao is an exciting event that transforms the city into a colorful wonderland, perfect for families and kids! With delightful attractions in every district, children can explore these bright installations and enjoy fun giveaways like glow-in-the-dark mobile phone lanyards, heart-shaped light sticks, and vibrant makeup mirrors. Each location offers interactive experiences, from water sports at Nam Van Lake to the thrilling atmosphere of the Yuan Yat Yuen Dog Racing Track. Kids will love exploring the dazzling lights making unforgettable memories in this festive celebration of joy!  It's free!
