Follow the musical adventures of Maria, as she undertakes her new posting as governess at the Von Trapp family of seven unruly children and falls in love with their father, a no-nonsense widower. The charming Maria wins all of their hearts thanks to her lighthearted approach and brings back music, song, and dance to the forlorn estate set in the beautiful Austrian countryside.
