This Chinese restaurant is a hidden gem located at the East of Singapore. They serve tasty Chinese dishes at affordable prices. Their signature dishes are the fish head curry or assam fish. Belly View Cafe has both indoor and outdoor dining. Most diners opt for its al fresco wooden deck area that has an amazing view of the sea. To add to the amazing blue landscape, there seems to be a constant sea breeze that makes outdoor dining very pleasant. For the little ones, there is a little playhouse and a 2-seater wooden swing. There is a patch of sand and the grass is well kept. The atmosphere gets more exciting with planes flying overhead as they descend towards Changi airport. Be sure to make reservations if you plan to have a table by the sea over the weekend. This place tends to get crowded and service will take longer, but the adults can relax while the kids play nearby. Belly View Cafe offers free parking but there are limited lots.
